Owner George Dimopoulos established the restaurant on a philosophy of good, quick customer service, fresh and homemade foods, and hard work. Dimopoulos is in his restaurant in the early morning hours just about every day to make sauces and prepare homemade specialties for the day.

Dimopoulos and his family were always willing to give back to the Livonia community, which he credits for the successful growth of Senate Coney Island.

“They support me all these years in Livonia, and I appreciate all the business the community has given to me,” Dimopoulos said. “I do what I can to help anyone in the community who asks me for help".
